The Royal representatives stated that they were building the family genealogical tree (umlando). They asked that all families forward their family trees and history so that they can be collated to form the Mbotho family tree and geneology. The elders within each family were requested to record everything that they know and recall and forward it to the Royal house for collation.
It was confirmed that they next gathering at the Royal residence will be held on the 1st October 2011 in Harding KwaZulu Natal. It was also decided that the next meeting to be held outside the Royal residence will be in Ngqeleni in July 2011 and that the date will be finalised at a later stage. It was requested that each family branch make an effort to have a representative at Harding.
